It is okay if you don’t have a background in coding or computer science.  Don’t be afraid to jump in and try it.  There are beginner-friendly tools to learn programming at any age or stage and there are many ways to develop computational thinking skills.

There are so many excellent resources to help you get started with integrating coding and computational thinking with your students.  I suggest starting at hourofcode.com. 

#3 You and Your Learners will Develop so Many Skills

Whether you teach just a little bit of coding or go deeper with a series of computational thinking activities, you and your learners will develop a variety of skills.
