Developing Criteria

After our students decided that making reminder notes would improve reusable bag use, they developed criteria for what a good reminder note would include.  As students gave suggestions, Mrs. Caldwell shared her screen and recorded students’ ideas.  To help our young readers, we also included pictures.  Near the end of the call, one of my Grade 1 students raised his hand and explained that he thought hanging things from a vehicle’s rearview mirror was against the law.  Mrs. Caldwell and I didn’t really know what to say… neither of us knew for sure?!  Mrs. Caldwell was quick to reply to the student, asking him if he would be in charge of finding out about that particular law…
