Goodbye Olympics: K Reflections on Our Favourite Olympic Moments

Since January, we have been learning about the Olympics: the history, the location, the athletes, and the events. For the past 3 weeks, we have been consumed by all things Olympics! We began every morning with a visit to the CBC Olympics site where we watched highlights from the previous day. The musical Olympic montages were our favourites!

And now that the postcards are in the mail and the closing ceremonies are over, we thought it would be fun to reflect on our favourite Olympic moments. Here they are:

Paige loved watching the Olympics!

Grace loved watching Paige and Rudi skate. She loved Paige’s pink dress with ruffles.

Georgie’s favourite moment was watching Scott and Tessa’s ice dance performances.

Harji loved watching the Team Canada men’s hockey team. He was happy that they won gold.

Jamie’s favourite Olympic moment was watching the gold medal men’s hockey game with his family. He said that Sidney Crosby’s goal was “a beauty of a goal”.

Maciej’s favourite Olympic moment was watching skeleton racing. We were very excited about this event because one of our classmates’ cousins is Mellisa Hollingsworth!
