After much hard work in the kitchen on Thursday and Friday, my class was thrilled to adopt SEVEN polar bears. What a busy day! We started making cookies to fill our cookie orders today with the help of some wonderful parents and community members. To prepare for our cookie fundraiser, we read many recipes and learned about procedural texts. Students listened for recipes with bigger amounts of ingredients, so we could make large batches and they were careful to avoid recipes that contained ingredients which students in our school are allergic to.
