We had the privilege of hosting an exciting guest today.  One of the local organizations our class would like to work with this year to help animals is Alyssa’s Ark Small Animal Rescue.  Today, Alyssa visited our classroom and even brought two rescue animals with her! Our Grade 1 classroom is back into the swing of things!  Our 2012-2013 students had their first Skype interaction when Mrs. Caldwell and her Junior and Senior Kindergartens Skyped our class.   Since her Senior Kindergartens were project leaders last year, they explained the great work they’d done last school year to help the environment.
